Well, that’s the end of that. All the (not so) hard work that went into my javascript code to get Firefox to allow a window to close it’s parent window (see here: javascript, window.close and Firefox (and other browsers)) is all for naught.

My beautiful, wonderful code does not work on the new version of the browser.

There’s only two possibilities. Either somebody couldn’t keep their mouth shut after reading my post, or someone from the Firefox team saw it and decided to make me sad.

What’s that you say? It had nothing at all to do with me and my insignificant, rarely updated (not to mention stupid) weblog?

Oh. Good. I feel better already.
